Hi!

I'm Danny Mottesi

I'm a CS master's student (AI track) at Stanford, with a B.S. in Symbolic Systems and a minor in Music. I'm currently the founding engineer at Karma Tickets, building across the stack — iOS, web, backend, and the AI systems that verify real fans. Before that, I was the second engineer at New Generation (through the Mayfield Fellowship), where I built the first version of their flagship product, an AI-agent-based scoring system; earlier stops include AI research at Adept and a summer in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with Rashal Energies, where I shipped an app used by thousands of customers and pitched the $18M loan to fund the city's first CNG pipeline.

I love music, technology, and putting technology to work where it matters. At Stanford I gravitate toward digital signal processing, reinforcement learning, audio + AI, and instrument design. Along the way I've taught coding to low-income students in LA, served as Class of '25 Student Body President, and sat on the Stanford Board of Alumni.

In my free time, I love to play gigs with my band, produce music, surf, and play soccer.
